The Role: What you will do?

As Counsellors, we are called to support and empower our clients. We equip individuals with the tools and autonomy they need to overcome challenges in their lives and safeguard their emotional health and wellbeing for the future. If you share our commitment to providing impactful, goal-focused support, come and join our team!

Getting to Know Us

Hello! We’re the EAP Helpline team at Vita Health Group. We work with clients who access our service through their employer / private medical insurer and help to find the right support for them, right there in that moment.

The work we do is a little different to sessional counselling, with a single-issue focus, designed to provide immediate support for each client we see. Working at a peripheral level, we can also provide a channel for clients to access ongoing support, through signposting and onward referral to our Brief Interventions team. The pace and variety of the work we do enables us to draw on all our counselling skills and provides exposure to a wide range of presentations, to develop our clinical knowledge.

As clinicians the work we do can be isolating, but whilst we may work from home, none of us work alone! Here at Vita, we are supported both personally and professionally by a close, connected team and strong clinical leadership. We share the challenges and the successes of our work together and create space for reflection and self-care. We take our development seriously, with high quality CPD, exceptional clinical supervision and ongoing training opportunities. There are also fantastic opportunities for career progression, because we are growing so quickly and we believe in developing talent from within, whenever we can.

If this sounds like the right fit for you, we can’t wait to welcome you on board!

Working Patterns

We have full time hours available at 37.5 hours per week. There are a variety of shift patterns, some of which include weekend and evening working.
